I aim to bring limited edition prints to people interested in unique and exceptional art, which should appeal to both specialist collectors and those completely new to the world of prints.
The growth in limited edition prints by modern artists after the Second World War was unlike anything before or since, giving rise to a particularly English style. This laid the foundations for what is now a diverse and intriguing field of art, providing art lovers with the opportunity to acquire original works that bear the mark of the artist’s hand.
My focus is on prints by artists whose work, as yet, has not received acclaim beyond serious collectors and connoisseurs, so I am able to present a range of high quality prints for purchase at a modest cost. In particular, courtesy of the Emma Mason Gallery, I am very pleased to be able to offer you a collection of rare post-war prints from their archive.
I specialise in this field of art because, quite simply, I love the work. I love the diversity and range of prints available, and hope that in some small way I can share this with others.
Also, I firmly believe that it is important to encourage and nurture artists working today: to help provide a market for their work so that they are able to sustain their artistic progress and develop their talent. This, of course, has the added benefit of generating affordable first class art for people who prefer hand-crafted originals to mass produced digital reproductions.
