Last of the Sunflowers

Great to have seen so many visitors to the April exhibition 44AD Gallery. The successful turnout meant that we sold out of several editions; however, I’ve had news from Michael Kirkman that he has a very few prints left of Sunflower Worship and Early Start, which will be arriving soon. Once they’re gone, though, that’s it.

Sunflower Worship. Colour linocut, printed on Somerset satin paper, 2014. Image size 31cm x 40cm. Edition of 15, signed. £175.00 unframed.

44AD Gallery, 4 Abbey Street, Bath, BA1 1NN

14 – 19 April 2015

David Turvey presents, A Celebration of British Printmaking: including a selection of fine and rare prints from the Emma Mason Gallery archives of British printmakers working in the post-war period, including Walter Hoyle and Robert Tavener; and showcasing the work of significant contemporary artist and printmaker Michael Kirkman. Michael’s unique and timeless images reveal something of the legacy of British printmaking, yet show a real contemporary edge. This is the first time his work will have been shown in Bath, so a great opportunity to discover a new and ascendant talent.
